"Life As A Song" will be available in Best Buy stores across the country Tuesday, October 27th. Celebrate the CD release with a FREE acoustic performance and CD signing at Best Buy in Flower Mound, TX on Sunday November 1st at 2:00p.m. Brad will be performing songs from the album and then sticking around after the performance to autograph copies of "Life As A Song."

10.20.09 Album Sales from "Life" to benefit Texas Scottish Rite Hospital For Children
Five Times August will be donating half of sales from the new album "Life As A Song" for the remainder of the year to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. This is the first of several charity contributions we plan to make using sales from the new album. We chose the Scottish Rite Hospital because of our love of children and could not think of a better place to start helping those in need than here at home in Dallas. TSRHC physicians treat thousands of patients with a wide range of orthopedic conditions each year focusing on the treatment, management and rehabilitation of children with orthopedic conditions including scoliosis, clubfoot, hip dysplasia, limb length discrepancies, and hand disorders, among other conditions.

Over the last month Five Times August attempted to raise $20,000 in 31 Days using the website KickStarter.com by offering a pre-order of the next album "Life As A Song" in exchange for fan contributions. Amazingly, we successfully achieved this goal thanks to dedicated & loyal fan support! Five Times August has continuously broken boundaries as a completely independent artist and has done it again through this endeavor. "Life As A Song" will be in stores October 13th, 2009.
