WEDNESDAY 10.20.10 PRE-ORDER THE NEXT ALBUM! Last year you helped raise $20,000 in 31 days via the website Kickstarter.com to help fund the album "Life As A Song." Well, it's time to make a new album and Brad is back on Kickstarter hoping you'll back the next album "Snapshots." The project will raise funds to record, manufacture, and release an album as Brad & Kelly travel across the states.
"I want to record an album that captures life on the road. I want to make an honest and raw album as I travel state to state. I want to play out into the abyss of the Grand Canyon, or track acoustic guitar in the mountains of Virginia before laying down the vocals over the hills of California. Essentially what I want to do is take audible "Snapshots" of all the places we go the next few years. With all the over processing and 'plastic' sounds of todays popular music I think this will be a unique project resulting in an organic and true representation of my capabilities as a songwriter."
Each pre-order tier offers a unique experience to fans backing the project. From autographed CD's, handwritten lyrics, private performances, postcards from the road, and even your own song! The more you put in to the project the more you get! Just remember, if the full amount is not raised by the deadline (Nov. 30th) then the funds will not go through, the album will not get made, and it will be a sad day for everyone! Don't delay and start spreading the word!
Also note: If we achieve the $20,000 goal for the project FTA will donate 20% of the album sales in 2011 to the Fender Music Foundation. Find out more about FMF here.

TUESDAY 10.05.10 "FIX ME" DIGITAL SINGLE OUT NOW! Five Times August released a new single today entitled "Fix Me." The new track was recorded with Grammy Award winning producer Andy Zulla who worked on FTA's previous single "The Minute" and the album "Life As A Song," also available now.
THURSDAY 09.16.10 YAMAHA/TUNECORE FREE ALBUM Five Times August is one of 26 artist featured on a free promotional compilation album from Yamaha and Tunecore which is available until October 31st. "Break" from the album Life As A Song is included alongside tracks from Ari Hest, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Sleeperstar, Andrew Belle, and many more.

TUESDAY 08.31.10 GOOD DAY DALLAS Brad stopped in to the FOX 4 studios in Dallas, TX this morning for an appearance on Good Day Dallas. Brad sang an acoustic version of "Giving It All To You" from the album "Brighter Side."
